Reconciliation Authority, and the outcomes of the
national dialogue on reforming the justice system.

  At the opening session, Mr. Khaled Al-Harfash,
NAUSS Vice-President for External Relations,
highlighted NAUSS ongoing commitment to improving
and advancing alternative punishments to freedom-
depriving punishments in criminal legislations.
This commitment aligns with the recommendations
put forth during the thirty-sixth session of the Arab
Interior Ministers Council, as well as the directives
of the Council of Arab Justice Ministers and the
recommendations of the Seventh United Nations
Congress held in Milan in 1985. These recommendations
